Installation

Step-by-step

1

Clean the surface

Wipe down the area where you'll apply the decal with soap and water, then dry completely with a lint-free cloth. Remove any grease, dust, or wax โ€” these will prevent the decal from sticking properly.

2

Position the decal

Peel back a small corner of the backing paper to check placement before committing. Use tape to temporarily hold the decal in place if needed. Take your time โ€” measure twice, apply once.

3

Peel and apply

Slowly peel away the backing paper at a low angle while pressing the decal onto the surface with your squeegee or card. Work from the center outward to push out air bubbles as you go.

4

Squeegee firmly

Once applied, go over the entire decal firmly with your squeegee or a flat card, pressing from center to edges. This ensures full adhesion and removes any remaining air pockets.

5

Remove the transfer tape

Slowly peel back the clear transfer tape at a low angle. If the decal starts to lift with it, press it back down and squeegee again before continuing.

Pro tip

Peel the transfer tape back over itself at a 180ยฐ angle โ€” almost parallel to the surface โ€” for the cleanest release.

6

Deal with any bubbles

Small bubbles often work themselves out within a few days, especially in warm weather. For stubborn ones, use a pin to make a tiny hole and press the air out with your finger.

Heads up

Avoid applying decals in cold temperatures (below 50ยฐF / 10ยฐC) or in direct sunlight on a hot surface โ€” both affect adhesion. For best results, apply indoors at room temperature.
